Over ten years’ experience in secondary school senior leadership.
Appointed Principal of Kingswood Academy (Hull) in April 2015, within Academies Enterprise Trust (AET).
As Principal, led Kingswood Academy from OFSTED Inadequate, January 2015, to OFSTED Good, March 2018. In 2019 Kingswood Academy delivered a Progress 8 score of +1.17 putting it in the top 20 highest performing secondary schools in the country. This also included a disadvantaged Progress 8 score of +1.3 and individual subject progress pillars of Eng +0.46 and Maths + 0.87.
Appointed Executive Principal at Academies Enterprise Trust 1st September 2018. This role included the oversight of Kingswood Academy as well as supporting schools in Middleborough, Essex and Suffolk as a system leader.
Appointed Executive Principal at Maltby Learning Trust 1st September 2019.
Promoted to Executive Director of Secondary Education in September 2020.
