Mr Jackson – Executive Director of Secondary Education 

  • Over ten years’ experience in secondary school senior leadership.
  • Appointed Principal of Kingswood Academy (Hull) in April 2015, within Academies Enterprise Trust (AET).
  • As Principal, led Kingswood Academy from OFSTED Inadequate, January 2015, to OFSTED Good, March 2018. In 2019 Kingswood Academy delivered a Progress 8 score of +1.17 putting it in the top 20 highest performing secondary schools in the country. This also included a disadvantaged Progress 8 score of +1.3 and individual subject progress pillars of Eng +0.46 and Maths + 0.87.
  • Appointed Executive Principal at Academies Enterprise Trust 1st September 2018. This role included the oversight of Kingswood Academy as well as supporting schools in Middleborough, Essex and Suffolk as a system leader.
  • Appointed Executive Principal at Maltby Learning Trust 1st September 2019.
  • Promoted to Executive Director of Secondary Education in September 2020.
